Question: Why is this 11G side-hole needle called a "Pen-Tip" needle? What is the difference between it and ordinary side-hole needles?

Answer:​ "Pen-Tip" is a figurative description of its front-end geometric shape. Ordinary side-hole needles usually just have simple holes drilled on the side, whereas our pen-tip needle undergoes special bevel cutting, resulting in a sharp, directional tip resembling a fountain pen nib.

The difference lies in: First, the pen-tip design makes it easier to penetrate tough tissues or fascia. Second, when fluid exits, the front bevel guides it to form a more concentrated fan-shaped spray, covering a larger area with a gentler water flow that is less damaging to tissues.

Question: Is the Luer Lock fitting at the tail fixed or detachable?

Answer:​ The image shows a fixed, integrated Luer Lock fitting. This design provides maximum structural strength and is less likely to detach or break under high-pressure irrigation or vigorous aspiration. However, if you have specific tubing connection needs, we can also provide a detachable version with threaded locking (Luer Slip or Luer Lock) according to your drawings.
