A customer recently contacted SHOMEA with a requirement for a customized temperature probe.

The probe was designed for installation inside a compact piece of equipment, so the customer needed a very specific tube structure. The probe had to fit into a limited space while maintaining the required length, diameter, and connection structure.

A standard temperature probe was not suitable for their design.

The outer tube protects the internal sensing element and also determines how the probe can be installed into the customer's equipment.

Depending on the design, manufacturing may involve precision tube cutting, CNC machining, forming, bending, welding, polishing, and dimensional inspection.
